DSPPA kicking off the internationalization of the National Standard

The kick-off meeting of internationalization of the National Standard – Technical code of public address system engineering (GB 50526) was held in the 798 art zone, Beijing on May 24, 2014. This meeting is hosted by Guangzhou DSPPA Audio Co. Ltd, and ten electro-acoustic experts attend the meeting. They are Xue Changli (President of Research Institute of Standards&Norms, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Zhong Houqiong (general secretary of Audio Engineering Society of China), Du Baoqiang (engineer of Research Institute of Standards& Norms, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Meng Zihou( professor of Communication University of China), Fan Baoyuan ( professor of 3rd Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Corporation), Wang Heng (president of DSPPA) and Zeng Weijian ( top-director of quality department, DSPPA).

On the meeting

At the beginning of this meeting, Secretary Zhong Houqiong first addresses and thanks all the experts for their attending. She says the translation job for the English version of Technical code of public address system engineering (GB 50526) needs to

be finished before the end of next year, which is challenging and heavy.

Xue Changli, president of Research Institute of Standards& Norms- Ministry of Industry and Information Technology says the Chinese-to-English translation job of the Standard requires great effort with high expertise. He highly affirms the effort Guangzhou DSPPA Co. Ltd has made for the job and attaches great importance to the internationalization of the Standard. It will be very useful for some present foreign-aid projects. At last, he says this job needs close communication with relevant

authorities, to ensure its fulfillment with high efficiency.
